Supervision for Trauma-Informed Practice

We have extensive experience in working with trauma, attachment, object relations oriented and humanistic psychotherapies.

 

This work, psychotherapy and counselling with traumatised and often complex client groups, can be tiring, stressful, incredibly isolating, and can cause vicarious traumatisation and eventual burnout. We support any other therapist working in this under-resourced area and recognise the stresses and problems involved.

 

What We Offer

We are both trained and experienced supervisors of counsellors and psychotherapists. We are able to offer general clinical supervision for therapists and mental health workers, or more specifically related to trauma or attachment issues.

 

We have experience of supervising student counsellors, having worked in relationship with a number of mental health charities as placement supervisors and also as external supervisors for psychotherapists and counsellors. We can discuss flexible rates for students.

 

We also offer short term or one-off supervision sessions for specific client difficulties, or 'tricky' therapeutic situations. Feel free to contact us to discuss your specific needs.
