Trauma therapy with children - resolving trauma before it becomes a lifelong burden

It can be most helpful to work with children and young people from the age of three upwards before problems become deep-seated and more complex.

Rashida Harries has worked with children and young people for a number of years using non-directive play, creative arts, story telling and is specially trained in offering EMDR for children.

Issues successfully worked with and resolved include; bullying, bereavement, trauma and neglect, attachment issues and relationship difficulties.

Working with children often entails some supportive work with parents or carers in addition to work with the child alone.

As a professional working with children, child protection is a major concern, and child protection procedures will be strictly followed.
